The New York Jets started their 2026 NFL schedule in exactly the way their fans would have wanted.
It was a commanding 23-10 win, one which saw the Jets (1-0) cruise to the finish line against the Tennessee Titans.
Gang Green's defense set the tone by making Titans quarterback Cam Ward look like a rookie once again. The offense, led again by quarterback Geno Smith, saw smooth sailing all day. Smith completed passes to seven difference receivers for 215 yards, meanwhile, running back Breece Hall scored and had 102 yards.
Taking in that effort down in Nashville were a lot of people wearing the color green. Jets fans traveled well and showed their support.
Plenty of that made its way to social media, too.
