The New York Jets came out on the short end of things in a three-straight game against the Chicago Bears last week, but it was the second week in a row it involved a personal connection to Aaron Glenn.
The Jets (1-3) lost to the Detroit Lions in Week 3. Glenn, New York's head coach, was the defensive coordinator there before being hired by the Jets.
While there, he worked alongside Bears head coach Ben Johnson--formerly the Lions' offensive coordinator.
That said, despite the Johnson's Bears beating up on Glenn's Jets, the boss from Chicago had a sincere set of words for Glenn following the final whistle.
As expected, the two had a positive embrace in the middle of Soldier Field. Johnson told Glenn in that moment he thinks "you're right there."
A nice line of encouragement.
