David Bailey, EDGE
Jets rookie EDGE David Bailey has recorded sacks in consecutive games to begin his career. The No. 2 overall selection in the 2026 NFL draft also leads all rookie pass rushers in pressures (8). On Sunday, Bailey will get an offensive line with star Penei Sewell at left tackle.
Demario Davis, LB
Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs will represent the biggest
challenge for this Jets defense. Gibbs is totally dangerous and dynamic in the open field. Linebacker Demario Davis is aging like fine wine, but his limits will definitely be tested in space.
Azareye'h Thomas, CB
The Jets still haven't ended their interception drought. Sophomore cornerback Azareye'h Thomas would love to nab the Jets' first pick of the 2026 campaign. The Lions have star receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown, and he'll move around the formation looking for matchup advantages. Thomas needs to play his best.
