What is the story about?

The New York Jets got a good showing from edge defender Joseph Ossai early on against the New York Giants in their preseason finale.

Hopefully it has not all gone down the drain as Ossai has exited the game.

The Jets have announced that Ossai is questionable to return with a foot injury he sustained in the first quarter. It is unclear exactly how the injury happened:

Considering it is a preseason contest, do not expect Ossai to return. Head coach Aaron Glenn will be asked to update his status following the game.

Ossai injured his left foot after 11 snaps, two tackles and one QB pressure.

Ossai signed a one-year deal in New York during free agency earlier this offseason. A third-round pick of the Cincinnati Bengals in 2021, Ossai has totaled 116 tackles,

44 quarterback hits and 14.5 sacks.
