The New York Jets' offense put forth a very efficient performance in their blowout Week 1 victory over the Tennessee Titans.
The Jets scored a touchdown on the opening possession and ended up winning 23-10. Now, attention shifts to building on that showing against the Green Bay Packers in Week 2.
Ahead of that, here are Jets Wire's three potential X-factors on offense in Week 2.

Geno Smith, QB
Geno Smith was extremely efficient and impactful in Week 1, completing 19-of-24 passing attempts for 215 yards. He'll now face a Packers defense that experienced a second-half meltdown in their debut, blowing a lead to lose 39-22 to their rival Minnesota Vikings. Smith will like his chances versus a Packers secondary that let Carson Wentz come into the Week 1 game and throw
three touchdowns.
Adonai Mitchell, WR
It was a promising 2026 debut for wide receiver Adonai Mitchell, who recorded three receptions for 60 yards. The Jets will be without rookie wideout Omar Cooper Jr. for this contest after he suffered a week-to-week injury versus the Titans. It could lead to even more opportunities for Mitchell.
Braelon Allen, RB
The Jets effectively used Braelon Allen as a change-of-pace back behind Breece Hall in Week 1. The between-the-tackles bruiser rushed for 40 yards via 10 carries, and was especially impactful on a 19-play drive in the first half. Expect Allen to continue rotating in behind Hall.
