The Jets (1-2) might've made their coach proud, but that did not transfer over to the scoreboard. In the end, the Lions (2-1) held on for a 31-24 win at Ford Field on Sunday.

The Jets played a game that flipped scripts in the middle of it. After a strong defensive start, it was the offense that shined late. However, it was not enough.

The Jets had the ball in the final seconds, but despite a strong game from quarterback Geno Smith, he did not get it done. Instead, Gang Green turned it over after climbing back into a game they trailed 24-10 at one point.
