The New York Jets rewarded Breece Hall with a three-year, $43.5 million extension this offseason. However, the star running back isn't viewing the deal as a finish line.
If anything, he says it's fueling him even more.
"It makes me more hungry to keep proving that I am who I say I am," Hall told reportersas the Jets opened training camp.
Hall enters the 2026 season with both financial security and organizational stability. After years of turnover, New York returns much of the core that helped reshape the franchise last season, giving Hall another opportunity to build on his role as one of the offense's featured playmakers.
One teammate isn't surprised by Hall's mindset. Wide receiver Garrett Wilson expressed complete confidence that the running
back has another level to reach.
"Breece is the one... He has more to give, and I know he's excited about that. I am, too. He's special," Wilson said.

Those comments echo the optimism surrounding Hall entering training camp. The Jets have invested heavily in keeping their offensive nucleus together, and Hall remains one of its most dynamic pieces because of his ability to impact games as both a runner and receiver.
Now, with a new contract in hand and the confidence of both the organization and his teammates, Hall isn't talking about what he's accomplished. He's focused on proving the Jets made the right investment.
