The one injury scare the New York Jets did not want to take place in 2026 happened on Day 8 of training camp.
On Saturday, the team held an open workout with fans in attendance and put on a show. New York head coach Aaron Glenn gave fans a look at a scrimmage for most of the workout.
In the midst of that, the team's No. 2 overall pick from the 2026 NFL Draft, edge defender David Bailey, was injured.
But take a deep breath, Jets nation. He is OK.
Bailey limped off the field and eventually did some light jogging with the medical staff on the sideline, according to various reports from the session. After practice, Glenn said exactly that.
