The New York Jets defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers in their second preseason game of 2026 on Friday at Acrisure Stadium.
Wins and losses during the exhibition season are often overlooked and for good reason. However, there are rare times when a team puts something on tape that feels noteworthy.
That's what the Jets did in this one.
The Green and White got their first dose of starting quarterback Geno Smith and he produced a flawless scoring drive in his only action in the game. From there, the defense took all the headlines from top draft pick David Bailey recording his first sack and a full-team effort being produced with a shutout.
New York Head coach Aaron Glenn will have loved that.
