The New York Jets had a down day at the office in their last outing against the Detroit Lions in a 31-24 final in Week 3.
The unit is set to get an injury boost ahead of facing the Chicago Bears (2-1) next weekend.
The Jets (1-2) provided an injury update on safety Minkah Fitzpatrick on Sunday via head coach Aaron Glenn. It's not set in stone that Fitzpatrick (groin) will return against the Bears as he was limited in practice on Wednesday, however, head coach Aaron Glenn said there is a "really good chance" of him playing in Chicago.
In addition to Fitzpatrick, Glenn confirmed running back Breece Hall (quad) is considered to have a week-to-week injury, meaning he will not play against the Bears.
Also not practicing on Wednesday are wide receiver
Adonai Mitchell (finger), guard Dylan Parham (knee), tight end Mason Taylor (thumb), and linebacker Kiko Mauigoa (quad).
