Kingsley Enagbare has only been with the New York Jets a few months, but he's already speaking the same language as many of his new teammates.
After the Jets' first training camp practice, the veteran edge rusher explained what drew him to New York after spending his first four NFL seasons with the Green Bay Packers.
"The opportunity to change the narrative and create a winning culture, have the league fear us," Enagbare told reporters.
It's a mindset that has become increasingly common around Florham Park. The Jets have spent the offseason adding accomplished veterans who believe the organization is ready to take another step. to improve—it's to establish a culture built around winning.

Safety Minkah Fitzpatrick also echoed that sentiment. He says he wants Jets fans to once again be proud of wearing the green and white after years without sustained success. His words were enough to make the most hardened Jets fans shed tears, had they not been hardened by years of shattered dreams and recurring heartbreak

Enagbare signed a one-year, $10 million prove-it deal this offseason, giving him every reason to make the most of a fresh opportunity. If his comments are any indication, he's embracing more than a new team.
He's embracing a shared belief that the Jets can finally change the story that's followed the franchise for far too long. He doesn't have to do it alone. Jets fans might be entertaining a few expectations before long.
