When talking about all of the former Georgia Bulldogs that are standing out in the NFL, you must start with former Georgia great and current Las Vegas Raiders
star tight end. Bowers has been nothing short of spectacular early on in his professional career and it's pretty clear that Bowers is on a fast track to being an all-time great in the league's history and potentially becoming an NFL Hall of Famer one day.Bowers cemented his legacy in Athens in a major way by being one of the most consistent, reliable and most dominating players of his generation. When talking about the great tight ends in college football history, Bowers name is near the top of that list if not the top. Fast forward to the NFL and Bowers is creating the same impact so
far that he made in college for the Georgia Bulldogs.
Let's take a look at the most recent records Bowers has broken.
Brock Bowers recently set a record for the most tight end receptions under the age of 24 breaking a record previously held by Jason Witten. Previously Bowers reached other major milestones such as becoming the fastest tight end in NFL history to reach 176 receptions and became just the third non-wide receiver to surpass the 1,900 receiving yards mark in just his first 30 games in the NFL.
Bowers currently holds the record for the most games with 10+ receptions with five and Bowers is tied for the sixth-most 100+ yard receiving games by a tight end in their first couple of seasons sitting at four.
Coming off some missed time earlier this year, Brock Bowers has started off in a very explosive manner with an extremely productive start to his 2026 campaign. His first game back, Bowers exploded for 116 yards receiving on 10 catches against the New Orleans Saints. This performance earned Bowers the AFC Offensive Player of the week honors. Despite a 30-27 loss to the Kansas City ChiefsSunday and feeling a bit under the weather, Bowers still came out with a productive day through the air with grabbing six passes on 11 targets for 86 yards and a single touchdown.
Bowers continues to prove just why he is a go-to type of player and is someone that one can rely on heavily in crunch time situations. He was able to prove that during his time in Athens and he is now proving that in the NFL. If Bowers continues to play at this rate, he will be breaking a lot more NFL records. He is certainly having an impactful NFL career early on just as he did for the Georgia Bulldogs.
With three receptions on Sunday against the Chiefs, Georgia Bulldog, Las Vegas Raider and two-time CFP National Champion Brock Bowers (23 years old) has passed Jason Witten for the most receptions by a TE under the age of 24 in NFL history‼️💪
