The Georgia Bulldogs host the Vanderbilt Commodores in a battle between two former SEC East rivals. Georgia is an undefeated 4-0 entering the Vanderbilt game. The Bulldogs are flying high after crushing the Oklahoma Sooners in a 28-point win last week.
Vanderbilt is coming off a narrow road loss to the Auburn Tigers. The Commodores are 3-1 with a notable last second win over NC State.
"This week's going to be about playing the best version of Vanderbilt football," Vanderbilt coach Clark Lea said ahead of the Commodores' game at Georgia. "That's it. And if we can do that, we're going to have a chance to put pressure on them and have a chance to win a game on the road against a really good opponent in a tough environment."
Georgia needs to play well
to put Vanderbilt away. The Bulldogs have the nation's top scoring offense and should be able to control the game against the Commodores. However, playing Vanderbilt isn't a walk in the park anymore and Georgia is going to have to play well otherwise we could be looking at an interesting game in the second half.
