The No. 1 Georgia Bulldogs host the unranked Auburn Tigers in Week 7 of the 2026 college football season. Auburn is coming off a bye week while Georgia just earned an emotional 20-17 road win over the Alabama Crimson Tide.
Georgia can't afford to have a let down against Auburn and Georgia coach Kirby Smart has made it clear that he wants UGA focusing on the Tigers.
"They have a lot of talent," coach Smart said about Auburn. "They've got good football players, and it's any given Saturday in this conference, as we see every week.
"It will be an extremely physical game. They're coming off an off week, and we're coming off a really tough physical game. It will be really important that the mindset and the approach to the game is right because they want
to make it physical the way they play."
The ESPN commentators for the Georgia-Auburn game are Dave Pasch (play-by-play), Dusty Dvoracek (analyst), and Taylor McGregor (sideline). The game kicks off at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, Oct. 17 and will be televised on ESPN.
Georgia (6-0, 4-0 SEC) is looking to win a 10th consecutive win over Auburn (3-2, 1-2 SEC), who is in a new era under head coach Alex Golesh. The Tigers are looking for their first in in Athens since 2005. Georgia leads the all-time series 66-56-8 in the Deep South Oldest Rivalry.
