The Georgia Bulldogs in the NFL impressed across preseason Week 2. Former Georgia wide receiver Noah Thomas, who went undrafted in the 2026 NFL draft, is battling for a roster spot on the Cincinnati Bengals.
Thomas hauled in his first career NFL touchdown for the Bengals in the second half of their 27-9 preseason win over the Chicago Bears. Thomas' 20-yard touchdown from quarterback Sean Clifford was his lone reception of the night.
His former Georgia teammate, wide receiver Colbie Young also caught a touchdown pass in the first half. Young posted a team-high three receptions for 48 yards and a touchdown in the Bengals' victory.
Thomas' touchdown showcased exactly what he has to offer for NFL teams. Thomas has good size and is a possession receiver
that can win contested catches in the red zone.
