The No. 2 Georgia Bulldogs and Arkansas Razorbacks have very different vibes to start the 2026 college football season. Georgia is 2-0 leads the country in scoring and has dismantled the Dawgs' first two opponents, who were both non-Power Four competition.

On the other hand, Arkansas is 1-1 and has a short week of rest after suffering a 43-10 loss late on Saturday to the No. 17 Utah Utes. The Razorbacks are looking for momentum in the start of the coach Ryan Silverfield era, but appear to be one of the SEC's worst teams again.

Arkansas is coming off a 2-10 season where the Razorbacks could not get a stop. Arkansas has not won a game against Power Four competition since beating Texas Tech in the Liberty Bowl back in December 2024.

Georgia is favored

by over three touchdowns against Arkansas. The Bulldogs have won back-to-back SEC championships and are 2-0 in the coach Kirby Smart era against the Razorbacks.

The Georgia-Arkansas game is the SEC opener for both teams. The game kicks off at noon ET on Saturday, Sept. 19 and will be televised on ABC. Dave Pasch (play-by-play), Dusty Dvoracek (analyst) and Taylor McGregor (sideline) will call the game from Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
