The No. 2 Georgia Bulldogs (3-0, 1-0 SEC) host the No. 24 Oklahoma Sooners (2-1, 0-0 SEC) in Georgia's first SEC home game of the season. Georgia and Oklahoma have not met since Georgia's double overtime win over Oklahoma in the Rose Bowl (2017-2018 season).
Georgia is coming off a dominant 45-17 road win over the Arkansas Razorbacks while Oklahoma most recently looked unimpressive in a 14-6 home win over New Mexico. Oklahoma coach Brent Venables described Oklahoma's latest performance as ugly. The Sooners have managed just 24 points over the past two weeks and faces an elite Georgia defense.
Georgia has looked like one of the best teams in the country against weaker competition. The Sooners, who made the College Football Playoff last season,
represent Georgia's first true challenge in 2026.
Georgia has the nation's top scoring offense at 59.3 points per game. However, Georgia has not played a defense like Oklahoma yet. The Georgia-Oklahoma game is expected to be low scoring with Georgia favored by two touchdowns.
