The Georgia Bulldogs are bringing a special adjustment to their uniforms early in the season. They unveiled that they will be playing inall-white uniforms against the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers in their home matchup on Sept. 12, 2026.
Georgia's all-white uniforms feature a white helmet and white pants, which are both not usually part of Georgia's attire. The Bulldogs frequently wear white jerseys, but they traditionally pair white jerseys with silver britches and red helmets.
Kirby Smart revealed it on the eve of preseason camp. He revealed it with safety KJ Bolden and tight end Lawson Luckie wearing the white jerseys, white pants and white helmets with the black Georgia "G" on their helmet.
Smart called out the players Tuesday, Aug. 4 under
the guise of how players should dress and what they should wear for games.
“Ya’ll been begging my (expletive),” Smart said as the players turned up their volume in reaction to the uniforms. “Hey, hey, hey. April Fools! April Fools! No, we’re going to wear them to Western Kentucky. Y’all have been begging for long enough. We’re going to wear them one time and get them out there.”
Georgia has never worn the all-white uniforms during a game. They wore black jerseys twice in the 2020 season against Mississippi State in Athens and in the Peach Bowl against Cincinnati, and now the all-whites are debuting after years of being a favorite for recruits.
