TheGeorgia Bulldogs took it on the road this week to take on the Ole Miss Rebels and the Bulldogs had one thing on their minds and that was to win. Well, they did just that in a very big way. Georgia went into Oxford and dominated the Rebels by a 42-7 score. One big takeaway is how the Bulldogs defense has played since coming back from their bye week. They have flat out shut down the last two opponents and holding both Florida and Ole Miss under 10 points.
Georgia's defense played lights out for the second week in a row and being able to do that against a game changing quarterback like Trinidad Chambliss is simply impressive. The Georgia offense took their game a couple of notches up and they didn't hold back against the Rebels. The Bulldogs
racked up 481 total yards of offense against Ole Miss. Georgia rushed for 295 yards on 48 carries. Through the air, the Bulldogs passed for 186.
Georgia quarterback Gunner Stockton was 9-of-15 for 186, four touchdowns, 22 rushing yards and a touchdown on the ground. Bulldogs wide receiver. Talan Taylor had four receptions, 140 yards and 3 touchdowns. Bulldogs running back Nate Frazier had over 100 rushing on the night.

Kirby Smart reacts to Bulldogs' defensive staff
"I'm really proud of the whole defensive staff. Glenn (Schumann) does a great job...Our kids stuck to the plan. The plan was to possess the ball offensively, own the line of scrimmage, we did that in the first half and stay aggressive on defense." Smart stated.
The defensive staff did a tremendous job in back-to-back weeks when it comes to putting their defensive players in the best position possible to be successful. Because of the preparation from the Georgia defensive staff, Georgia's defensive unit caused havoc all night in Oxford.
Gunner Stockton reacts to fast offensive start
"It's a good feeling getting momentum early. We just try to stay on schedule and execute the plan...having that momentum makes a big difference." Gunner said.
The Bulldogs took criticism from some fans after last weeks offensive performance against the Florida Gators for not putting a ton of points on the board and moving the ball at a better rate. However, the Bulldogs defense made up for any lack of offense. This week against Ole Miss was much different as Georgia came out scoring quickly and often. The Bulldogs did not let up and made an all-around statement to the country on how good they can be when they execute at a high level in all facets of the game.
The Bulldogs will turn the page and look to continue it's momentum against the Missouri Tigers next week in Athens.
