The Cleveland Browns have added another former Georgia Bulldogs player to their practice squad. Cleveland signed offensive lineman Xavier Truss to its practice squad as part of a series of roster moves. The Browns and coach Todd Monken, a former Georgia offensive coordinator, also signed punter Wes Pahl to the practice squad.
Truss provides offensive line depth for the Browns, who are coming off a Week 1 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. The 6-foot-7, 320-pound offensive tackle originally signed as an undrafted free agent with the Denver Broncos following the 2025 NFL draft. Truss did not make the Broncos and signed with the Saints, where he appeared in seven games (all on special teams) as a rookie.
Truss did not make New Orleans' roster this
August, so it is good to see him land with another NFL team. Truss with wear No. 67 in Cleveland.
Cleveland already has former Georgia defensive lineman Zion Logue on its practice squad. The Browns additionally have former Georgia defensive back Tyson Campbell on their active roster.
