The Georgia Bulldogs have the nation's leading offense in points per game after posing 60+ points in consecutive games to start the 2026 college football season. Georgia piled on 63 points in the season opener against Tennessee State and scored 70 points in Week 2 against Western Kentucky.

Georgia's offense will finally be tested against a Power Four defense in Week 3 as UGA plays at Arkansas. It is still too early to tell who has the best offense in the country because most college football teams have not played multiple Power Four defenses and instead feasted on cupcakes.

When asked about what is different about the 2026 Georgia offense, coach Kirby Smart kept it simple saying "our opponents" are the difference. Georgia's hot start to the season

won't mean much unless Georgia's offense can keep it going in SEC play.

After Georgia, the Miami Hurricanes have the second highest scoring offense in the nation. Miami is the highest scoring team that has played a Power Four opponent. Still, the Hurricanes have one of the top scoring offenses in the country because they scored 77 points against Florida A&M.

Both Florida and Virginia Tech have top-five scoring offenses despite undergoing coaching changes this offseason. So far, so good for both Florida coach Jon Sumrall and Virginia Tech coach James Franklin.
