A former Georgia Bulldog has found a new home. Former Georgia defensive back Otis Reese IV, now a linebacker in the NFL, has signed with the Buffalo Bills, the team posted on its social media pages. In a corresponding move, they've also placed LB Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles on injured reserve.
Reese returns to the Buffalo Bills for the second time, as he was on their practice squad in 2025. He just came off the New England Patriots practice squad, signed on Feb. 11. However, he was waived on August 4, about a week before the preseason.
Reese doesn't have anymore experience other than his tenure with the Tennessee Titans. He was signed in May 2023 as an undrafted free agent, initially serving as a special-teams linebacker. He played seven games,
started three and recorded 21 total tackles in 2023.
In 2024, he had 17 tackles, two pressures and an interception across 13 games. He was released by the Titans in August 2025, and that has capped his regular season experience so far.
Reese started his collegiate career with the Georgia Bulldogs as a safety in 2018 and totaled 16 tackles over 2018-19. He transferred to Ole Miss Rebels in the 2019 offseason, and with the Rebels, he recorded 198 tackles, 10 1/2 tackles for loss, and 4 1/2 sacks.
The Buffalo Bills currently have former star Georgia running back James Cook on their roster. Wide receiver Mecole Hardman, interior offensive lineman Sedrick Van Pran-Granger, and defensive lineman Zion Logue are also on the roster.
