Early in the game on the Georgia Bulldogs first drive against theAuburn Tigers, quarterback Gunner Stockton left the first drive but returned. Though the breath may have left many fans in Sanford stadium, the Bulldogs were in solid hands for the time being with Stockton's replacement and backup quarterback Ryan Puglisi. Puglisi entered the game right away and completed a 41-yard pass during the drive to Craig Dandridge and a 10-yard pass to running back Nate Frazier.
Stockton returned very quickly after a required sideline check. With the return of Stockton, the Bulldogs continued it's run down field and ended the drive with a Dwight Phillips Jr. touchdown run from 15-yards out.
Stockton seems to be just fine after taking the big hit on the very
first snap of the game. Keep an eye on Stockton's performance to see if the hit may or may not have any effect on him throughout the contest versus the Auburn Tigers.
