What is the story about?

The Georgia Bulldogs finally have an official availability report heading into Week 3's game against the Arkansas Razorbacks. Georgia has three players listed on the availability report. However, the Bulldogs have five total players expected to miss the SEC opener.

Georgia linebacker Chase Linton missed the Bulldogs' first two games with a lower leg injury. Linton remains out and is considered "week-to-week" by Georgia coach Kirby Smart.

Georgia freshman cornerback Justice Fitzpatrick is recovering from a torn ACL (suffered in December) and is not back to 100%. Fitzpatrick remains out for the foreseeable future.

Georgia defensive lineman Xzavier McLeod is not with the team anymore. The Bulldogs will also be without Auburn Tigers transfer edge rusher

Amaris Williams, who tore his ACL in the spring and is expected to miss the majority of the season at a minimum.

Williams and Kentucky Wildcats running back transfer Dante Dowdell are both not on Georgia's availability report, but will not play. Dowdell recently revealed he sustained a punctured lung, broken ribs, two broken collarbones and nerve damage to his right arm. He required nine staples in his head and was hospitalized for more than two months after getting in an ATV accident this offseason. Dowdell will be out for a long time.

The Bulldogs play Arkansas on Sept. 19 at noon ET. The temperature at kickoff will be around 90 degrees, which should test the depth and conditioning of both teams. Georgia and Arkansas will release an updated injury report 90 minutes before kickoff.
