Former Georgia Bulldogs defensive end and All-American David Pollack shared another update on his wife, Lindsey, who recently underwent surgery. It marked Lindsey Pollack's third surgery following her brain cancer diagnosis.
"Her oncologist called me Friday during our HS football game," Pollack said. "He left a voicemail that said this, Um, the results came back stunning. Like, no tumor. I mean, it's, it's, we don't completely understand it. But give me a call and I'll explain what we think maybe going on and tell you how we resume."
Pollack's son, Nicholas, is committed to playing college football with the Clemson Tigers and plays high school football for North Oconee, which is located close to Athens, Georgia. Pollack is an assistant coach at North Oconee.
Pollack's latest update on his wife is great news.
"Man I hope this encourages someone in the battle today," Pollack continued. "Thank you isn’t enough to all of you that have been praying for us. No greater gift you can give someone."
Pollack continues to cover college football with On3 following his departure from ESPN's "College GameDay". Pollack and Lindsey both started The Pollack Foundation, which seeks to improve the lives of families in the Atlanta and Athens areas in Georgia.
