The Georgia Bulldogs have moved up to the No. 2 spot in the US LBM Coaches Poll after beating the Florida Gators 27-8 in convincing fashion. Georgia is the highest ranked one loss team in the country. Only No. 1 Miami is ranked ahead of Georgia.
The Bulldogs have a top-15 clash on Saturday, Nov. 7 as Georgia plays the No. 12 Ole Miss Rebels, who beat UGA in the Sugar Bowl last season to eliminate Georgia from the College Football Playoff. Georgia's win over previous No. 20 Florida knocked the Gators from the rankings.
Georgia has a ranked win over No. 9 Alabama. The Bulldogs have remaining ranked games against No. 12 Ole Miss and No. 19 Missouri as Georgia looks to win a third straight SEC championship. Georgia is well-positioned to return to the
playoff.
The SEC has seven teams ranked in the top-25 as we enter the final stretch of the year.
