TheGeorgia Bulldogs have been one of the best teams in college football this season. They’re currently 5-0 with a recent 38-14 win against Vanderbilt. Georgia coach Kirby Smart describes the Vanderbilt win as "probably played the most complete game we've played so far" this season. The Bulldogs don’t seem to be losing momentum as they head into their contest against the Alabama
Crimson Tide on Saturday.With all the changes to the AP Poll this week, Georgia remains No. 2 in the country. The Bulldogs have premium wins this year, such as Oklahoma in Week 4, dominating them 41-13. UGA faces Alabama, who is ranked No. 6 in another great matchup between the two SEC powerhouses.
The Bulldogs have been clicking both offensively and defensively, despite
dealing with some key injuries. Star running back Nate Frazier has missed Georgia's last two games. Georgia's next test will be against the 5-0 Crimson Tide, and it'll be a statement if they can pull the win off. "College GameDay" will be in town for the Georgia at Alabama game. Texas is still No. 1, but has to play Oklahoma in the Red River Rivalry on Saturday.
Georgia is tied with Alabama in the SEC standings (both teams are 3-0). The winner will have an inside track at making the SEC championship. Three other SEC teams are also in the AP Poll top 10 rankings, such as LSU, Alabama, and Mississippi.
