The No. 3 Georgia Bulldogs (6-1, 4-1 SEC) play the No. 20 Florida Gators (5-2, 3-2 SEC) at 3:30 p.m. ET on Halloween in the latest edition of the World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party. Georgia leads the all-time series against Florida 58-44-2 with the Bulldogs winning the last five meetings.
Georgia coach Kirby Smart is 8-2 against Florida with the two defeats coming in 2020 and 2016. Florida has scored exactly 20 points in each of the last four meetings with Georgia.
"Obviously, the venue has changed," Georgia coach Kirby Smart said on the Florida game being played in Atlanta for the first time in series history. "I don't think that matters much to the teams playing in it."
As usual, both Georgia and Florida are coming off bye weeks. Both Georgia and Florida still
have College Football Playoff and SEC championship hopes. The Gators have earned major upset wins over Ole Miss and Texas in Year 1 of the Jon Sumrall era and are looking to add to that tally. Georgia lost to Auburn in the Bulldogs' last outing and is hungry to put that bad memory in the rear-view.
