ESPN "College GameDay" host Kirk Herbstreit made predictions for all of the top Week 10 college football games (outside of the game he is commentating). Herbstreit along with the rest of the GameDay desk predicted who woudl win an SEC showdown between the No. 2 Georgia Bulldogs and the No. 10 Ole Miss Rebels.
Herbstreit picked Georgia to beat Ole Miss. He explained why he thinks the Dawgs will win to get revenge for losing to Ole Miss and quarterback Trinidad Chambliss in the Sugar Bowl last season.
"Ole Miss has won 16 games in a row at home," Herbstreit said. The Rebels have not lost at home since falling to Kentucky in 2024. Chambliss is undefeated at home.
"I think Gunner Stockton wins this game," Herbstreit continued. "Lots of short, quick
passes, get the ball out of his hands."
Herbstreit notes that the Ole Miss defense has been struggling to tackle and thinks that is a matchup that Georgia could take advantage of.
Herbstreit along with Desmond Howard, former Alabama coach Nick Saban and actor Jason Sudeikis all picked Georgia to win. Pat McAfee was the only one to pick Ole Miss to win in what he describes as "Trinidad's last stand" this season.
