One Pittsburgh Steelers insider has revealed the ugly truth about the team's trade plans as the November 10 deadline rapidly approaches.
Despite the Steelers arguably having a need at cornerback or safety heading into the trade deadline, insider Mark Kaboly said it hardly matters, as it's wide receiver or bust for Pittsburgh.
"I thought [Jamel] Dean and [Asante] Samuel Jr. played well enough that Daylen Everette didn’t need to play. I think it’s wide receiver or nothing,"Kaboly said via Blitzburgh. "That’s my thought right now. I don’t know where else you would want to add or would even think about adding at the trade deadline.”

Kaboly may have hit the nail right on the head, as multiple trade rumors and reports have linked the Steelers to plenty of wide receiver targets like Brian Thomas Jr. and Josh Downs, while the team has rarely been tied to any other position groups.
Despite Joey Porter Jr. being traded away, Steelers cornerbacks Jamel Dean, Asante Samuel Jr., and Daylen Everette have stepped up in a huge way over the past few weeks and may have allowed Pittsburgh to focus solely on bringing in some offensive weapons at the trade deadline.
