It's always a heartwarming sight to see one of the NFL's all-time greats pay respect to another, but this may go a little bit beyond that — Tom Brady believes Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers may be unstoppable in the AFC North.
Earlier in the week, Brady explained that Rodgers is playing some of his best football right now and highlighted what makes the Steelers QB so dangerous in 2026.
“He’s always been an incredible passer of the football, but now that he’s playing from the pocket, he’s totally in control," Brady said via Colin Cowherd's The Herd podcast. "I think he’s got six interceptions this year, and five of them have been off the hands of his receivers or a Hail Mary. He’s making incredible decisions. He has always made great
decisions, and that’s why that team’s first place in the AFC North, and I don’t see anyone stopping them in that division, either.”
Rodgers, who began his career with the Green Bay Packers (2005–2022), also had a short stint with the New York Jets (2023–2024) before joining the Steelers in 2025 free agency. During his 22-year NFL career, Rodgers has thrown for 68,145 yards and 540 touchdowns, as well as earning four First-Team All-Pro selections, one Second-Team All-Pro selection, 10 Pro Bowl honors, and being named NFL MVP in 2011, 2014, 2020, and 2021.
Brady, regarded as the best quarterback of all time, knows greatness when he sees it. And it's clear to him that Rodgers, even at 42 years old, is capable of leading the Steelers far in 2026.
