The NFL trade rumors are flying and many of them are surrounding the Pittsburgh Steelers making a move for a wide receiver. A name we keep hearing is New York Jets receiver Garrett Wilson. With the NFL trade deadline less than a week away, Wilson is in jeopardy of not playing this weekend as he is currently in the concussion protocol. Jets head coach Aaron Glenn made the announcement on Wednesday.
If the Steelers want to bring in a player who can help them win now, down the stretch, it's Wilson. He played with quarterback Aaron Rodgers and in 2024, had 101 receptions with Rodgers throwing him the football. Pittsburgh needs receivers who can beat man coverage and get open and none on the market are better than Wilson.
