This week the Pittsburgh Steelers are heading to Paris to take on the New Orleans Saints in the NFL International Series. Last season, the Steelers played the first-ever regular-season game in Ireland and now will play the first regular-season game in France.
Here are our big concerns for this week.
The riots, obviously
Paris is currently dealing with large amounts of riots and looting, some of which is just a few miles from where the Steelers and Saints will play. Even if it doesn't make it's way to the stadium, this will still be a huge issue and weigh on the minds of players, coaches and fans.
Travel and hangover
The Saints chose to travel to Paris three days sooner than the Steelers and this could be the single biggest factor in the outcome of this game. The Steelers plan to practice
at home on Thursday, fly overnight and sleep on the plane, then arrive and practice again on Friday. This could be a disaster for Pittsburgh.
Three wins in a row?
The Steelers had a three-game win streak in December of last season and could do the same this week. Given the team's up-and-down performance, we worry they have it in them with a trip across the ocean and get back up for this game after the thriller in Tampa Bay last week.
Wide receiver issues continue
There are still serious concerns at the wide receiver position and rookie Germie Bernard is going to need another huge game to help carry the passing offense. Same for running back Jaylen Warren and tight end Pat Freiermuth as they look to fill the voids on offense.
