Injuries have hit the Pittsburgh Steelers hard over the past several weeks, and although the team has received some good news regarding potential returns, their top wide receiver was shockingly listed as questionable for Week 6.
Courtesy of Friday's practice report for the Week 6 matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Steelers wide receiver DK Metcalf was surprisingly added to the injury designations with an illness and is listed as questionable to play on Sunday

Metcalf, who was traded to the Steelers in March 2025 after six seasons with the Seattle Seahawks, hasn't quite made the splash fans were hoping for when he arrived in Pittsburgh.
Through 20 career games with the Steelers, Metcalf has recorded just seven touchdowns and 1,075 receiving yards, an underwhelming average of 53.8 yards per game. Metcalf's numbers don't exactly live up to the $132 million extension he signed with the Steelers, but his presence still forces defenses to prepare for his lightning-fast speed.
Former Steelers cornerback Joey Porter Jr. was ruled out for a surprise illness in the Dallas Cowboys' Week 5 game, but hopefully, Metcalf can power through this setback in time to make a splash for Pittsburgh's matchup against the Buccaneers.
