The Pittsburgh Steelers advanced to 5-2 on the 2026 season following a 16-10 victory over the New Orleans Saints
, putting together a second-half defensive shutdown to secure a Week 7 win in Paris. It wasn't a bad performance for the offense either, a unit that compiled 250 total yards in the first half of action. With that in mind, there are still plenty of studs — and duds — to recognize in the Week 7 win. From a dominant defensive performance to another disappointing showing from the special teams unit, here's a look at the biggest winners and losers from the Steelers' Week 7 win over the Saints in Paris.
Winners
Edge rushers
Pittsburgh's edge rushers were in Tyler Shough's face throughout the game. Compiling a plethora of pressures, tackles for loss, important
stops, and what should've been a strip-sack fumble, T.J. Watt, Alex Highsmith, Nick Herbig, and Jack Sawyer were on fire in this one.
Jaylen Warren
Warren was electric for the Steelers, recording 114 yards on 12 touches in the first half alone. He wound up finishing the game with 137 yards from scrimmage thanks to Mike McCarthy's strange decision to give Rico Dowdle a bigger role in the third and fourth quarters. But it doesn't change the fact that Warren is by far the best player on offense and showed it once again in Paris.
Payton Wilson
Wilson impacted the game in both pass and run defense. Finishing the game with six total tackles and a huge interception that prevented the Saints from putting points on the board in the third quarter, Wilson could not be stopped in Week 7.
Patrick Queen
Another inside linebacker who looked outstanding, Patrick Queen put together a strong outing against the Saints in Paris. Recording 10 total tackles, a tackle for loss, a sack, and a near-interception, Queen deserves his flowers. This was the type of game that Steelers fans need to see more of out of Queen.

Losers
Special teams
Is it safe to say the Steelers miss Danny Smith? The special teams unit has been extremely inconsistent this season and has honestly been the team's weakest link by far. The Steelers' kick coverage unit once again fell apart and surrendered a huge 42-yard return that wound up turning into the Saints' only touchdown of the game.
Officiating
Yikes! The officiating was bad in this one. From no-calls on obvious DPIs against DK Metcalf to the decision to reverse T.J. Watt's strip-sack fumble on Shough, and a handful of questionable calls in between, one could argue that this game was nearly ruined by the officials.
