The Pittsburgh Steelers pulled of a huge win last week over the Indianapolis Colts. But there's not time to celebrate because this week the Steelers have to head south and go against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. As well as the team played on offense last week, everyone understands you can never get too comfortable when it comes to this team.
Here are our big causes for concern this week.
Wide receiver injuries pile up
The Steelers will be without Michael Pittman Jr. Roman Wilson and Ben Skowronek this week against the Bucs. While we are excited for the opportunity it gives rookies Germie Bernard and Kaden Wetjen, this puts a ton of pressure on the run game and tight ends to carry the offense.
Can this team play two good games in a row?
Much like under former head coach Mike Tomlin, the Steelers are back to playing on-again,
off-again football with no consistency week to week. If the trend continues, look for this group to come out flat and struggle.
Defensive effort still lacking
Pittsburgh defensive coordinator Patrick Graham isn't having much luck getting his team's pass rush on track; they are still struggling to tackle and with all the injuries, continue to struggle with communication in the secondary.
