Last week, the Pittsburgh Steelers collapsed against the Cleveland Browns on Thursday Night Football and fell to 2-2 on the season. The team has had a mini bye week to try and get things on track before they take on the Indianapolis Colts. Here are our big worries this week.
Injuries galore
Pittsburgh will be without starting cornerback Jamel Dean and defensive tackle Derrick Harmon. Both guys got hurt in last week's loss and their spots on the depth chart may both end up being filled by rookies.
The roster in disarray
If you don't think there was some hangover last week from the Joey Porter Jr. trade, you are kidding yourself. This roster is lost and head coach Mike McCarthy is losing control of this group at the worst possible time.
Lack of pass rush continues
The Colts are going to try and slow down the Steelers
pass rush with their impressive run game but when Daniel Jones does throw, the Steelers have to find a way to manufacture some pass rush and take heat off a banged-up and depleted secondary.
Still no playmakers in the passing game
The only receiver the Steelers have to who can get open and create on their own is Roman Wilson and the next best Roman Wilson is Germie Bernard. It might be time to get Bernard and Wilson on the field together.
