NFL trade rumors are red hot, as the Arizona Cardinals have indicated that wideout Marvin Harrison Jr. will be traded, and the Pittsburgh Steelers, along with other receiver-needy teams around the league, have received the asking price.
According to NFL insider Tom Pelissero, any team that would be interested in a blockbuster trade for Harrison would need to offer a second-round draft pick and possibly an additional Day 2-3 selection.
"Other teams that have spoken to the Cardinals say Arizona would want a second-round draft pick and more—perhaps an additional mid-round pick—to consider dealing Harrison," Pelissero wrote.
While the Houston Texans have been tabbed as the heavy favorites to land Harrison, reports have indicated that they were offering
a 2028 second-round draft pick, but the Cardinals are pushing for a 2027 second-round selection.
A second-round draft pick from a loaded 2027 NFL Draft class seems incredibly steep. The Steelers have the blueprint to jump ahead of the Texans to strike a deal, and considering the injuries plaguing their wide receiver room, one could argue that now is the time to make a call to Arizona.
