The Pittsburgh Steelers saw their 42-year-old quarterback Aaron Rodgers suffer a concerning injury at the end of the first half.
Rodgers, who attempted a Hail Mary pass to close out the second quarter, fell awkwardly to the ground as Cincinnati Bengals defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence appeared to land on him.
"Aaron Rodgers was down for a bit and headed off the field with something grabbing at him," Farabaugh wrote via X. "Went full backyard football on that Hail Mary and Dexter Lawrence then landed on him."
Rodgers would head straight to the locker room following the final play of the second quarter. In the first half, Rodgers turned back the clock with an impressive performance throwing the football, completing 12 of 21 passes for 190 yards and
two touchdowns.
Considering how amazing Rodgers has looked early in Week 3, it would be a massive loss if he can't finish out the game. The Steelers and Bengals remain tied 17-17 before the start of the second half.
