Offensively, the Pittsburgh Steelers have been utterly embarrassing to start the season. And honestly? If the Steelers don't make some changes on the offensive side of the ball, they could be walking out of their Week 3 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals with a 1-2 record.
Yes, it's easier said than done. But the Steelers could follow these three offensive keys to a Week 3 victory over the Bengals, which include giving as many touches as possible to their star player on Sunday.
Utilize heavy sets to establish run game
To defeat the Bengals, the Steelers can't afford for their rushing attack to fall flat in Week 3. The offensive line's struggles haven't made it easy on Pittsburgh's run game, but the team would be wise to utilize more heavy sets through the use of three tight ends
or even an extra offensive tackle.
Keep Aaron Rodgers upright
Thanks to terrible pass blocking, Rodgers has been bruised and battered through the first two games of the 2026 season. The Steelers need to keep their quarterback protected and upright. Whether that's through having extra blockers in on obvious passing downs or simply game planning for Rodgers to get the ball out fast, pass protection is the key on Sunday.
Feed Jaylen Warren
Between DK Metcalf being unable to catch a football and Michael Pittman Jr. dealing with a foot injury, the Steelers' offense is in desperate need of a game changer. Enter Jaylen Warren, who's currently leading the team in yards from scrimmage. With Rico Dowdle sidelined, Warren needs to be the spearhead of the offense in Week 3. In the receiving game and out of the backfield, Warren needs close to 30 touches if Pittsburgh wants to defeat Cincinnati on Sunday.
