This week, the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Browns square off, both teams at 5-2 and tied on top in the AFC North. The Steelers are looking for payback and the Browns are looking for their first sweep of the Steelers since 1988. Here are four bold predictions for this week's game.
Jaylen Warren carries the offense
The Browns run defense is struggling and Jaylen Warren is on a tear. Warren rushed for 93 yards in the first matchup and our bold prediction for Warren this week is he gets his fourth 100-yard rushing game of the year and tops 150 yards of total offense and two total touchdowns.
T.J. Watt breaks out with 3 sacks
This week is the perfect opportunity for T.J. Watt to quiet the critics as he faces backup right tackle Dawand Jones. Watt is currently fourth int he NFL with 5.5 sacks but has struggled
with consistent pressure. This week he breaks out of his funk with a huge three-sack performance and one of them turns into a huge forced fumble.
Pittsburgh solves their red zone woes with two scores
For all the things he can do, head coach Mike McCarthy has struggled to get the Steelers red-zone offense on track. This is due in large part because he's been unwilling to just run the football near the goal line. That ends this week with two short rushing touchdowns. The Steelers currently have only one rushing touchdown all season.
Double-digit win for the Steelers
We appreciate what the Browns are building but Pittsburgh is at home and riding a three-game win streak since the loss to Cleveland and will keep it going with a double-digit win, bringing the Browns back to Earth about their place in the AFC North. Final score prediction: Steelers 35, Browns 24
