With roster cuts settled, the next move for the Pittsburgh Steelers is to fill out their practice squad. The team will use some combination of player who were previously on the roster and players other teams released as well. Once waivers are sorted out, teams will rush to make roster changes and for the Steelers this means adding between 12 and 16 guys for the regular season.

Steelers sign OL Doug Nester

Pittsburgh adds a depth piece on the offensive line with Nester should the team need support on the right side of the offensive line. Nester had a strong preseason and is a great addition.

Steelers to add S Juanyah Thomas

Pittsburgh to sign Thomas, who played for Mike McCarthy with the Cowboys and adds physicality while DeShon Elliott is on IR.
