The Pittsburgh Steelers are four games in the season and if they cannot pull off a win on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts, they will find themselves under .500 in a crowded AFC North and facing a long climb back to respectability.
It seems this team is struggling and needs to get things right quickly. Here are three things the Steelers need to do this week to get back on track and give the team a spark.
Start Roman Wilson over Michael Pittman Jr.
There's no good reason for Michael Pittman Jr. to ever be on the field at the expense of Roman Wilson at this point. In fact, I'd probably play rookie Germie Bernard over Pittman Jr. as well to try and add some explosion to a lackluster passing attack.
Play Nick Herbig where he belongs
You don't give an edge defender a massive new contract and then turn him into a run-stopping
inside linebacker. Herbig needs to be on the edge and rush the passer. Defensive coordinator Patrick Graham needs to inject a little creativity into this defense to get Herbig involved.
Try to calm Aaron Rodgers down
He might be a future Hall of Famer but right now, Aaron Rodgers is hearing footsteps and playing like it. I don't know if it's an adjustment to the scheme to make life easier on the 42-year-old quarterback or just a pep talk but he's playing scared right now the instant things don't go according to plan.
