The Pittsburgh Steelers were already heading into Sunday's game against the Indianapolis Colts shorthanded on defense and now things are just getting worse. The team was already without starting defensive end Derrick Harmon, who is set to miss several weeks and now starting nose tackle Yahya Black has popped up on the injury report just 24 hours before kickoff.
We have no idea what the designation of personal means for Black but from a team standpoint, it likely means a heavy dose of Keeanu Benton and Sebastian Joseph-Day with Cameron Heyward in the base defense. It also means, if Black cannot go, we could see rookie Gabriel Rubio get a helmet on gameday for the first time this season.
The Steelers defense is on its heels after the Joey Porter
Jr. and the rash of injuries so losing Black when the Colts are going to run right at the Steelers defense with Johnathan Taylor is a huge loss if he cannot play.
The #Steelers have added DL Yahya Black (personal) to the game status report with a questionable designation for Sunday's game against the Colts.
