The Pittsburgh Steelers welcomed the Atlanta Falcons to town in Week One and came out with an exciting 20-13 win to start the season 1-0. Mike McCarthy's debut as Steelers coach didn't come with the explosive offense that was his trademark in prior NFL stops. Aaron Rodgers played with more freedom and aggression than he did last season, but the unit struggled to produce points against the Falcons. None of that matters all that much, though, not when T.J. Watt is intercepting passes and turning them into
defensive touchdowns.
There's no debating just how bad the Steelers offense looked. The team treated it like a fourth preseason game and was fortunate to go against a Falcons offense that was just as out of sorts. The offense got carried by the Steelers' defense, so much so that it was a pick-six by edge defender T.J. Watt that sealed the win.
