Everybody Hates is a six-part anthology docuseries on Vice TV that unpacks the cultural phenomenon of public backlash against sports' most polarizing figures. This week's episode features Pittsburgh Steelers starting quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
Rodgers has spent much of his career going against the grain and his outspoken nature, which extends well beyond football, has divided the fanbases of every team he has played for. Rodgers is one of the best quarterbacks of all time and a future Hall of Famer but will always be remembered for what he did off the field.
Instead of re-litigating whether these individuals deserve the backlash, the series focuses on the psychology and mechanics of public hatred. Each episode serves as a character study, dissecting
how these specific athletes became societal lightning rods and why the public is so deeply invested in rooting against them.
The show airs live on Vice TV every Tuesday night at 9:00 PM ET / PT.
Here is an exclusive look at the trailer for tonight's episode featuring Rodgers.
