The split between the Pittsburgh Steelers and cornerback Joey Porter Jr. was ugly. This was in part because Porter Jr. chose to fake a back injury to stay off the field until the team was forced to trade him to the Dallas Cowboys. Then after playing part of one game with his new team, missed the second with an illness. Now, heading into his third game with Dallas and no new contract, Porter Jr. was limited at practice on Wednesday with what the team is calling an ankle injury.
Porter Jr.'s ankle injury might be 100 percent legitimate but after being the boy who cried wolf in Pittsburgh, everything he does will come under scrutiny and rightfully so. The Cowboys are preparing to take on the Green Bay Packers this week.
