Joey Porter Jr. is one of the most polarizing former Pittsburgh Steelers at the moment, but that apparently only tracks within the fandom, as an ex-teammate of Porter offered support in his Dallas Cowboys debut.
During the Cowboys' Week 4 matchup against the Houston Texans
, Porter received encouraging words from Steelers cornerback Jalen Ramsey, who was supporting his former teammate's debut in Dallas from afar."Tapped in brother," Ramsey wrote in an Instagram story that featured Porter's debut on TV.
Ramsey, like many Cowboys fans, didn't get to see Porter on the field much, just 20 coverage snaps and five run defense snaps. Porter was only targeted once when he actually was on the field but didn't allow a reception.
Ramsey and a few other former
teammates of Porter have been supportive since the trade news broke, but Steelers fans haven't been as warm, which was especially true after Joey Porter Sr. took a few shots at Pittsburgh in his son's Week 4 debut.
