In the team's second trade in as many days, the Pittsburgh Steelers have sent their 2025 third-round running back to the NFC North.
According to multiple reports, the Steelers have traded running back Kaleb Johnson to the Green Bay Packers. As of right now, there are no details on the trade compensation.

The agreement ends the 2025 third-round pick's brief and underwhelming tenure in Pittsburgh.
Johnson, who was selected by the Steelers in the third round of the 2025 NFL Draft, didn't have the rookie season many were hoping for last season, as he recorded just 69 rushing yards on 28 carries, along with a dreadful 2.5 yards per attempt.
And who could forget
what many consider to be the worst part of his rookie season: the dreaded kickoff blunder? In Week 2 against the Seattle Seahawks, Johnson watched a kickoff sail past his head and into the end zone, where it was recovered by an opposing player. Seattle scored a touchdown and, with momentum clearly on its side, defeated the Steelers 31-17.
Hopefully, Johnson can make the most of this fresh start with Green Bay and potentially emerge as a staple in the running game with Josh Jacobs' future uncertain.
