The Pittsburgh Steelers offensive line had a great game on Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals and star defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence. Pittsburgh made a very conscious and focused effort on double-teaming Lawrence every chance they had and forced the other Bengals defenders to make a play.
However, one play in particular has the internet in a kerfuffle as to whether or not it is legal. Bengals blogger Joe Goodberry, who narrates the breakdown of the video below, notes that this move might be illegal and is almost certainly dangerous. He also compares it to the idea of a chop block, where one defender engages with a defender high; it is illegal for another offensive lineman to engage with them low. the leg of Lawrence up while he and center Zach Frazier are in the midst of a double team block.

We are sure the league will address this at some point and we are anxious to see if they will view this technique as illegal or not.
